Rhamna Province

Rhamna Province is an administrative region in central Morocco with Ben Guerir as its administrative center, stretching across agricultural lands and several rural communities. The region sits at roughly 449 meters elevation and connects multiple settlements through a network of roads.

The region takes its name from the Rahamna tribe, who established settlements north of the Sahara between the 13th and 15th centuries and created lasting territorial roots. This early settlement by nomadic and sedentary groups shaped the region's structure and identity.

Rural communities here maintain traditional ways of life centered on agriculture across the central Moroccan landscape. The university town of Ben Guerir has introduced academic and scientific activities that shape modern local culture.
