National Herbal Park

The National Herbal Park is a large green space filled with native healing plants from different regions of the country. The site holds hundreds of different species with informative labels at each location.

The site was established in 2008 to protect native healing plants from disappearing. The project came from a desire to preserve Myanmar's botanical heritage.

The park displays plants that have been used in Myanmar's traditional healing practices for generations. Visitors can observe how local communities rely on these species for their wellbeing.

The park is open year-round and free to enter, with clear paths that are easy to walk. The best times to visit are the cooler months, when the sun is not as intense.

The collection holds rare plant species from remote regions like the mountains of Kachin and Shan. These specimens are preserved here to safeguard knowledge for future generations.
