Church of the Nativity of Mary, Naxxar

The Church of the Nativity of Mary features a baroque facade with three central bays, two bell towers, and five entrance doors along its perimeter.

Constructed between 1616 and 1630 by architect Tumas Dingli, the church underwent major renovations in 1909 that expanded the side aisles and created a new facade.

The church maintains three active choirs, including the Jubilate Deo ensemble, which participate in religious ceremonies and community celebrations throughout the year.

Religious services occur daily with multiple mass times, including seven Sunday services starting at 06:00 and ending with an evening mass at 18:30.

The church facade displays two clocks, with one showing the actual time while the other remains permanently painted to display quarter to eleven.
