Nnamdi Azikiwe University is a federal institution with three campuses spread across Anambra State, with the main academic hub situated in Awka along the Onitsha-Enugu Expressway. The facility accommodates 14 faculties, medical training centers, research laboratories, and a significant library collection supporting numerous academic disciplines.
The university originated from Anambra State University of Technology in 1991 and gained federal status through Government Decree No. 34 in 1992. Since then, it has grown into a major center for higher learning and research in Nigeria.
The Professor Festus Aghagbo Nwako Library maintains extensive collections of Nigerian academic resources and supports research across multiple disciplines.
