De Citadel

De Citadel is a residential and commercial building in Almere designed with multiple levels and mixed uses throughout. Ground-floor retail spaces connect with housing units above, linked by open-air passages.

The building was designed by French architect Christian de Portzamparc and completed in 2006. It formed part of Almere's broader urban development strategy.
