Animali Vogel- en dierenpark, Bird and animal park in Eindhoven, Netherlands
The park contained multiple enclosures featuring exotic birds, including cockatoos, ostriches, and emus, alongside areas housing monkeys and kangaroos.
Harrie van Dijk established the animal park on May 10, 1951, after moving his bird and animal trade business from Tilburg to Eindhoven.
During the 1950s, the park offered organized turtle races for children, where winners received their racing turtles as take-home prizes.
The park operated seasonally from April through October, with daily opening hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, attracting 135,000 visitors annually.
A central bridge led visitors from the entrance to a restaurant with a terrace, where guests could observe swans swimming in the adjacent water.
