Raveleijn

Raveleijn is an entertainment theater in Efteling featuring live performances with horseback riders, falcons, and trained actors who execute movements in a covered medieval-style arena. The stage is designed so spectators can see the action clearly from their seats.

The venue opened in 2011 and introduced a new entertainment concept combining live performances with special effects to bring a fictional medieval setting to life. This opening marked the addition of a unique show format to the park.

The show tells the story of five chosen riders who defend their city against Count Olaf and his mechanical dragon Draconicon. You watch this tale unfold each day as the riders perform their battles right before you.

Visitors can obtain free show tickets at the entrance, with multiple daily performances running between 12:00 and 20:00 throughout the year. It helps to arrive a bit early to secure a good spot in the arena.

The performances feature real birds of prey that fly over the audience while performers demonstrate advanced equestrian skills on trained horses. This blend of live animals and skilled riders creates an unusual show experience that stands out from typical theater productions.
