Meierijstad is a municipality in North Brabant encompassing thirteen villages, with Veghel, Schijndel, and Sint-Oedenrode serving as the main towns. The area spans 185 square kilometers and unites these communities under one local government.
The municipality was formed in 2017 through the merger of three independent towns: Veghel, Schijndel, and Sint-Oedenrode. This consolidation created North Brabant's largest municipality at that time.
