Built on land donated by the Ortigas Company, the Santuario de San Jose was completed in 1966 after 25 months of construction led by Fr. Guido Coletti.
The church serves as a central religious institution for over 100,000 members, celebrating the Solemnity of St. Joseph on March 19 as its principal feast day.
The Santuario de San Jose manages multiple chapels, including the Holy Family Chapel in Greenhills Shopping Center and two additional locations in Barangay West Crame.
The church construction began after Fr. Guido collected 827,000 Philippine pesos in March 1964, following months of persistent fundraising efforts.
