Baliangao Protected Landscape and Seascape is a protected area combining a marine sanctuary with mangrove forests and elevated wooden walkways. The site features diverse coastal habitats that can be explored on foot or by boat.
The area started as Misom Sea Sanctuary in 1991 and received official protected status in 2000. This designation recognized the importance of both marine and forest ecosystems.
