Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral, Catholic cathedral in Dipolog, Philippines.
The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary stands with massive adobe stone walls and contains wooden bas relief sculptures of the Four Evangelists.
Construction of the cathedral began in 1893, with the parish establishment following in 1896 under the leadership of Father Esteban Yepes as the first parish priest.
The cathedral houses an altar designed by Filipino nationalist and writer José Rizal during his exile period in nearby Dapitan.
The cathedral serves as the central church for 758,000 Catholics in the Diocese of Dipolog, offering regular masses and maintaining connections with 38 regional parishes.
In 2021, the cathedral received designation as one of the 500 Jubilee Churches celebrating five centuries of Christianity in the Philippines.
