ASEAN Convention Center, Convention center in Clark Freeport Zone, Philippines
The ASEAN Convention Center is a conference building in the Clark Freeport Zone designed with a central lobby space and multiple event halls. It contains four banquet halls and four Presidential rooms that accommodate international conferences, exhibitions, and large regional meetings.
The building was originally completed in 2016 and underwent major renovation by Budji+Royal Architects in 2017. These upgrades prepared the facility to host significant regional conferences and ministerial meetings.
This center serves as a gathering place for Southeast Asian nations, hosting high-level meetings between member countries. The spaces are designed to support regional cooperation and diplomatic exchanges among ASEAN partners.
The center is located within the Clark Freeport Zone and is accessible from that area. It is best to check ahead for scheduled events and be prepared for varying entry requirements depending on the type of conference or meeting.
In 2020 the center was temporarily transformed into a quarantine facility with around 150 beds to support a public health emergency. This rapid conversion showed how the building could serve purposes far beyond its original conference design.
