Maguindanao del Sur is a province with 24 municipalities located in the Bangsamoro region of Mindanao. The land features rolling terrain, rivers, and farming areas situated between Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat provinces.
The province was created through the division of the original Maguindanao in 2022. Buluan was established as its capital and main administrative center.
