Miar Peak rises to an elevation of 6,824 meters within the Karakoram range, featuring steep ice-covered slopes and a northwestern face connected to Miar Glacier.
The mountain stands between two established climbing destinations: Diran Peak at 7,257 meters to the northwest and Malubiting Peak at 7,428 meters to the southeast.
Local communities in Nagar Valley and Bagrot Valley maintain traditional practices while supporting mountaineering expeditions through their knowledge of regional conditions.
Climbing attempts on Miar Peak require careful planning between June 20th and July 25th to minimize risks from avalanches and falling ice debris.
The peak remains unclimbed according to recent records, with previous expeditions reaching only the base camp located near the convergence of multiple glacial systems.
