Bahria Icon Tower

Bahria Icon Tower is a mixed-use building with 62 floors above ground and 7 basement levels, rising 300 meters into Karachi's skyline. The structure combines reinforced concrete with a glass exterior and holds offices, retail spaces, and residential units across its levels.

The building project started in 2009 and reached its full height in 2017, with completion finished in 2023. This development marks a period of major high-rise construction in Karachi's Clifton business district.

The tower shapes Karachi's skyline as a symbol of modern development and stands in contrast with nearby traditional landmarks like the Abdullah Shah Ghazi shrine. Visitors notice how the building represents the city's shift toward contemporary urban architecture alongside its historical heritage.

The building is accessible through multiple entry points, with 16 high-speed elevators connecting the floors and extensive underground parking for thousands of vehicles. Visitors should arrive during off-peak hours to avoid crowding at the main entrances.

The steel framework was developed in collaboration with a major international steelmaker to enhance the building's long-term durability. This focus on material quality reflects the careful engineering approach taken in constructing this tower.
