Tomb of Nadira Begum, Mughal tomb in Lahore, Pakistan.
The Tomb of Nadira Begum stands on a raised platform within a sunken water tank, featuring two stories and measuring 44 feet on each side.
Built in 1698, this mausoleum contains the remains of Nadira Banu Begum, wife of Prince Dara Shikoh who governed Lahore during the 1640s.
The tomb's interior displays traditional Mughal architectural elements, including tarseem bandi ceiling work and khat kashi decorative finishes in the main chamber.
Visitors can access the central tomb chamber through an arched entrance on the ground floor, which leads through a rectangular gallery to the main space.
Unlike traditional Mughal tombs surrounded by gardens, this structure stands within a water tank that measures 200 Mughal gaz in both length and width.
