Description
Tomb of Nadira Begum is a Mughal mausoleum in Lahore situated on a raised platform within a sunken water tank. The structure rises in two stories with a symmetrical design, accessed through an arched entrance on the ground floor that leads through a rectangular gallery to the main chamber.
History
The mausoleum was built in 1698 to house the remains of Nadira Banu Begum. She was the wife of an important Mughal-era figure who held power in Lahore during the 1640s.

The interior displays traditional Mughal craftsmanship through detailed ceiling work and decorative surface treatments. These handmade elements reflect how much care went into honoring the person buried here.
