Abbot's Palace, Manor house in Oliwa district, Gdansk, Poland.

The Abbot's Palace features Rococo architecture and extends across multiple wings, with a symmetrical facade and decorative stone elements throughout the structure.

Built in the 15th century as a Cistercian monastery residence, the palace underwent major renovations in 1577 and received final additions between 1754 and 1756.

The palace now functions as the Department of Modern Art of the Polish National Museum, displaying works by Polish artists from the 19th and 20th centuries.

Visitors can access the museum galleries, explore the surrounding 10-hectare park, and contact the facility at +48 58 301 70 61 for exhibition information.

During World War II, German troops set fire to the palace in 1945 to impede the Red Army's advance, leading to its complete reconstruction in 1965.
