Międzygórze

Międzygórze stands at 680 meters elevation in a deep valley, surrounded by forests and mountains of the Śnieżnik Massif region.

The settlement began in 1580 as a woodsmen community at the confluence of Wilczka and Bogoria rivers, developing from timber industry into tourism.

The village architecture displays Tyrolean influences from the 1840s when Princess Marianne of Orange-Nassau transformed the area into a holiday destination.

The GOPR Mountain Rescue station provides year-round emergency services with modern equipment including quads, snowmobiles, and medical supplies.

A network of stone stairways and panoramic terraces surrounds the Wilczka waterfall, created during the 19th-century tourist development period.
