Duszniki-Zdrój, Spa resort in Klodzko Valley, Poland.

Duszniki-Zdrój is a spa town in Klodzko Valley where natural mineral springs feed numerous treatment facilities and wellness centers. The town sits in a mountain valley at approximately 583 meters elevation and is crossed by the Bystrzyca River.

The healing waters here were first documented in the 15th century and began attracting people seeking relief. Official recognition as a Prussian spa resort in 1769 marked the start of organized and regulated health tourism.

The name Duszniki comes from the Polish word for pipes or jets, referring to the natural mineral springs that flow from the ground here. These waters have shaped the town's identity and drawn visitors seeking healing for generations.

Walking through the town is the best way to explore the spa district and see the springs scattered throughout the area. The summer months offer the most comfortable conditions, though the town is welcoming year-round.

The Museum of Papermaking is housed in a 17th-century mill on Klodzka Street and displays traditional paper production techniques. Occasional demonstrations allow visitors to watch and understand how this craft was practiced historically.
