The Municipal Palm House spans 2,000 square meters divided into five themed pavilions housing over 6,000 plant and animal species from worldwide regions.
The Palm House, established in 1924, originated from earlier greenhouses built in 1880 within Fryderyk Chopin Park as part of the local botanical collection.
The institution serves as an educational center where visitors learn about global flora and fauna through interactive displays and informative exhibits.
The facility welcomes visitors Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and weekends from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM with wheelchair access.
The Amazon pavilion contains a 60,000-liter aquarium featuring arapaimas, which reach lengths of 3 meters, along with stingrays and redtail catfish.
