Gmina Wilków

Gmina Wilków is a rural municipality with 26 villages and settlements spread across the Opole Lubelskie County. The area is dominated by farmland and open fields that shape the character of the landscape.

The area experienced severe flooding in 2010 that affected nearly all parts of the municipality. Only the village of Rogów escaped this natural disaster.

The municipality maintains several educational facilities and community centers where residents participate in traditional Polish customs and regional celebrations throughout the year.

The village of Wilków sits about 14 kilometers northwest of Opole Lubelskie town. It is roughly 49 kilometers from the regional capital Lublin and accessible by car.

The municipality shares borders with six neighboring administrative areas. This patchwork arrangement reflects the region's complex territorial layout.
