Little Beskids Landscape Park, Nature reserve in Bielsko County, Poland.
Landschaftsschutzpark Kleine Beskiden covers mountainous terrain between Bielsko-Biała and Zembrzyce with mixed forests and varied natural environments spread across the region. The area is crossed by marked hiking trails that connect different peaks and provide access to various landscape features throughout its extent.
The protected area was established in 1998 and divided into four nature reserves: Madohora, Szeroka, Zasolnica, and Grapa. This division allowed different habitats and forest types to receive targeted protection.
Mountain shelters throughout the park welcome visitors with traditional hospitality and local food that reflect how people have lived in these highlands. These gathering places show how mountain communities maintain their customs by sharing meals and shelter with travelers passing through.
Multiple marked trails connect the peaks and make navigation straightforward when hiking through the terrain. These signed routes lead to various viewpoints and mountain shelters where you can rest during your walk.
Four storage lakes create a network of water reservoirs woven through the mountain landscape within the park. These lakes - Miedzybrodzkie, Czanieckie, Zywieckie, and Swinna Poreaba - serve practical water management while also shaping the visual character of the area.
