Aula Uniwersytecka w Poznaniu, University concert hall in Poznań, Poland

The university hall features a barrel-vaulted ceiling decorated with polychrome artwork depicting Apollo in a chariot surrounded by muses, completed in 1947.

The building, designed by architect Edward Fürstenau, was constructed between 1905 and 1910 as part of the Royal Academy in the Northern Renaissance style.

The hall functions as the main venue for the Poznań Philharmonic Orchestra and hosts the International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition.

Located at the intersection of Święty Marcin Street and Wieniawskiego Street, the concert hall accommodates 860 spectators across two levels.

In 1946, the National Supreme Court conducted the trial of German war criminal Arthur Greiser in this hall, leading to the last public execution in Poland.
