Ławeczka Józefa Kostrzewskiego w Poznaniu

The Ławeczka Józefa Kostrzewskiego is a bronze sculpture at Campus Morasko of Adam Mickiewicz University, depicting the professor sitting on a solid bench. The sculpture faces toward the Collegium Maius building and functions both as a memorial and as a practical resting spot for those visiting the campus.

The monument was unveiled in October 2012 and relocated to Campus Morasko near Collegium Historicum in 2016. This move was part of reorganizing the university's layout to better integrate historical memorials within the academic setting.

The memorial belongs to a series of four bench monuments honoring the founders of Poznań's first university. These scattered sculptures allow visitors to encounter the institution's origins as they walk across campus.
