The statue of Christ the King stands on a pedestal in a garden square in front of the neo-Gothic parish church of the Holy Savior.
The monument, designed by Eugeniusz Olechowski, was unveiled in 2000 to commemorate two millennia of Christianity and fifty years of parish activity.
The realistic statue presents Jesus with one hand raised in a blessing gesture and holding a sphere in the other hand, following traditional Christian symbolism.
The monument serves as a central meeting point in the square, located near other memorials such as the Katyń Monument and Stanisław Mikołajczyk Monument.
The pedestal inscription honors Christ and combines the celebration of His birth's second millennium with the local parish's fiftieth anniversary.
