The military complex features three massive gun positions, underground bunkers, and an eight-story command tower designed for naval defense operations.
German military forces constructed this Baltic Sea defense battery between 1938 and 1939, installing three 283-millimeter cannons with a range of 36 kilometers.
The command tower now functions as an educational center where visitors learn about coastal defense strategies and military engineering of the early 20th century.
During summer months, visitors can access the site through marked forest paths and participate in guided tours of the command tower complex.
The command tower includes an optical rangefinder that could track vessels up to 50 kilometers away, housed under an armored dome on its top floor.
