Saint George church in Bytów

Saint George Church displays the characteristics of 17th-century religious architecture with its prominent tabernacle and detailed iconostasis reflecting Byzantine influences.

The religious building, constructed between 1675 and 1685 by local evangelicals, later transformed into a Byzantine-Ukrainian church after hosting Kashubian services until 1859.

The church contains a preserved 17th-century tabernacle transferred from the Surochów Church in Podkarpacie, representing the integration of different regional religious traditions.
