Siemierzycka Góra

Siemierzycka Góra is a 256-meter summit in the Bytów Lake District and the highest point of this region, rising from a terminal moraine formation. A steel observation tower extending over 17 meters high sits atop the peak and can be reached by climbing a flight of steps to reveal views across the surrounding lowlands, villages, and forests.

An observation tower was first erected on this summit before World War I. Following several reconstructions over the decades, the current metal structure was completed in 2020.

The mountain carries its Polish name since 1950, replacing an earlier German designation. It has become a popular hiking destination for visitors from nearby communities.

Reaching the observation deck requires climbing approximately 86 steps, making the physical effort manageable for most visitors. Clear weather provides the best views across the landscape, and the site is accessible year-round.

The location sits within a protected forest area known as Rekowskie Forests and functions as a buffer zone for the Słupia Valley Landscape Park. These conservation designations make the site an important ecological area in the region.
