Bacówka Pod Małą Rawką, Mountain hut at 930 meters in Bieszczady County, Poland.
Bacówka Pod Małą Rawką is a two-story wooden shelter located at 930 meters (3,050 feet) at the base of Mała Rawka peak. The hut provides accommodations for around 27 guests in both private rooms and shared dormitories.
The shelter was built in 1979 as part of a planned network of mountain facilities across Poland. It became one of eleven specialized structures designed to support and facilitate hiking in the Polish mountain regions.
The shelter draws hikers and nature enthusiasts who gather to share experiences and knowledge. Regular events bring together visitors from different areas who come to explore the mountains.
Visitors should bring a sleeping bag and park vehicles at Wyżniańska Col, which is located about 900 meters away. It is advisable to make reservations in advance, especially during national holidays, to ensure accommodation is available.
The shelter occupies a geographically distinctive location where the borders of Poland, Slovakia, and Ukraine converge closely together. Visitors can witness this rare border meeting near the neighboring Kremenaros Mountain.
