Osadzki, Mountain summit in Bieszczady Mountains, Poland
Osadzki is a mountain summit in the Bieszczady range that rises to 1253 meters (4111 feet). Its peak features a short rocky ridge with steep terrain scattered with stones and rock outcrops.
The mountain served as a strategic vantage point during different conflicts because of its location near the historical boundaries between Poland, Slovakia, and Ukraine. This border position made it valuable for surveillance and defense.
The mountain trails connect to traditional shepherd paths used for centuries by local communities who maintained seasonal grazing practices in these highlands.
The main trail from Orłowicza Pass takes about one hour to reach the summit, while the route from Chatka Puchatka mountain shelter takes roughly 50 minutes. Both paths are well-marked and fit easily into a half-day hike.
On clear days, the summit offers 360-degree views across three separate mountain ranges: the Bieszczady, the Sanocko-Turczańskie, and the distant Poloniny. This complete panorama makes it a favorite spot for mountain photographers.
