Igliczna, Mountain summit in Śnieżnik Massif, Poland.
Spitzigerberg is a mountain summit in the Śnieżnik Massif standing at 845 meters elevation. The peak overlooks the Kłodzko Valley and surrounding mountain ranges, crowned by a pilgrimage church.
The Maria Śnieżna Sanctuary was founded in 1781 after a wooden Madonna figure withstood powerful winds at the site. This establishment began a long tradition of pilgrimage to this peak.
The late Baroque sanctuary near the summit holds a revered image of Our Lady of the Snows and displays a mechanical nativity scene throughout the year. Visitors come to this holy place to pray and observe the handcrafted details of the old nativity figures.
You can reach the summit by car via a winding mountain road from Marianówka or hike on several trails including the Main Sudeten Trail. Parking areas are available at different locations depending on how much walking you prefer.
The mountain has two separate parking areas: one sits near Villa Eagle's Nest while the other is tucked in the forest requiring extra walking time. This dual setup lets visitors adjust their hiking effort based on energy and available time.
