Karczówka, Limestone summit in Kadzielniański Range, Kielce, Poland.
The 319-meter high Karczówka summit features a natural reserve of 27 hectares covered with century-old pine trees reaching up to 150 years.
Between 1624 and 1631, Bishop Marcin Szyszkowski established a monastery complex at the summit, combining late Renaissance and early Baroque architecture.
The monastery contains a notable rococo statue crafted from native lead ore, discovered by miner Hilary Mala in December 1646.
Visitors can access the summit through marked trails, and the red tourist path leading to Chęciny begins at the top of Karczówka.
The former mining site contains preserved shafts and post-exploitation trenches on the southern and western slopes, revealing its industrial heritage.
