Karczówka Nature Reserve is a protected woodland area with meadows and limestone outcrops situated near Kielce. The site contains varied habitats supporting different plant and animal communities, along with a 17th-century monastery complex.

The area was first designated as a protected site in 1933 but lost this status during conflict. It was formally reinstated as a reserve in 1953 to safeguard its pine forests and commemorative structures.

The reserve holds significance as a place where religious heritage and nature protection coexist. The monastery grounds within its boundaries reflect the area's spiritual identity and remain a focal point for local visitors.

The site is accessible via marked yellow walking trails that connect the main points of interest throughout the area. Wear sturdy footwear and allow time to explore the different habitats and structures at a comfortable pace.

The reserve harbors several rare plant species including Martagon lily and European bugbane that thrive in limestone formations containing lead deposits. This combination of specialized plants and geological features creates botanical significance.
