The three-nave hall church features Gothic windows, multicolored brick portals, and a chancel with original 15th-century stone tracery and Baroque stucco vaulting.
King Władysław Jagiełło founded the church in 1406 after the discovery of three sacred Hosts, and its construction continued until 1470.
The church displays portraits of King Władysław Jagiełło and Queen Jadwiga from 1665, along with coffin portraits of Polish nobility near the rood-screen arch.
The church stands at Strzelecka Street 40 in Poznań, near the Warta River, with past water level marks from floods in 1698, 1736, and 1888.
The monstrance from the 1400s, believed to originate from the Battle of Grunwald spoils, remains the most valued artifact in the church collection.
