Kościół Świętej Trójcy w Szczecinie

The Holy Trinity Church in Krzekowo is a church building with a rectangular stone structure, brick-wooden tower, and enlarged windows. These windows brighten the interior spaces and enhance visibility of the artistic decorations within.

Construction began in the second half of the 13th century with the first written record dating to 1261. The building has thus witnessed and shaped about 750 years of the city's history.

The interior displays a baroque wooden altar from the late 18th century accompanied by ceiling paintings showing religious scenes and the four evangelists. These artistic elements remain central to the church's visual character today.

Mass services take place on different weekdays with additional services during the summer months of July and August. Visitors should check the exact times in advance and dress respectfully when entering.

The building combines three different construction methods: granite stone walls in the nave, brick walls in the sacristy, and half-timbered walls in the tower. This mixture reveals different building phases and craftsmanship techniques from various periods.
