Kościół św. Antoniego w Dąbrowie Górniczej, Catholic church in Gołonóg district, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Poland.
This baroque Catholic church stands on a limestone hill at 335 meters above sea level, featuring a single nave structure with baroque dome crowned by a copper-covered lantern and an octagonal tower transition.
Founded in 1675 by Bishop Andrzej Trzebicki of Kraków and consecrated in 1678, the church underwent significant expansions in 1753 with the addition of a masonry tower and further renovations in the mid-19th century.
The church serves as the main center of worship for the local Catholic community and houses valuable interior decorations including 1896 polychromy by Piotr Niziński and late 19th-century altars, pews, and pulpit.
Currently administered by Franciscan Conventual friars since 1951, the church offers regular religious services and is accessible via nearly one hundred covered stone steps leading to the main entrance.
The church complex includes a historic cemetery on Górka Gołonoska and was inscribed in the Silesian Province register of monuments in 2022, encompassing the surrounding fence and church grounds.
