Ośrodek Narciarski COS OPO w Szczyrku

The Ośrodek Narciarski COS OPO in Szczyrk is a winter sports complex featuring multiple lift systems that transport skiers to the mountains Jaworzyna and Skrzyczne. The facility offers modern chairlifts and runs suited to different skill levels.

The ski area at Skrzyczne was developed to establish the mountain as a major winter sports destination, which later led to the creation of training facilities. This growth transformed the region into an important skiing center in Poland.

The resort serves as a central training ground for Polish national athletes and hosts international competitions on its FIS-certified competition slope.

The site is best visited during the snow season between December and March when conditions are most stable. It is recommended to visit on weekdays to avoid longer waits at the lifts.

The facility holds Poland's only International Ski Federation licensed competition slope that winds across demanding mountain terrain. This designation makes it the only location in the country where internationally certified ski races can take place.
