Małe Skrzyczne is a forested mountain in the Silesian Beskids that rises to about 1200 meters. The peak is reached via several marked trails that wind through spruce forests and open grassy sections offering views across the surrounding ranges.
Local mountaineers first marked trails to this summit during the 1950s as part of developing the regional hiking network. The mountain has since become a standard destination in the Silesian Beskids network.
Throughout the year, Polish hiking groups organize guided expeditions to Małe Skrzyczne following traditional mountain climbing customs and safety protocols.
The mountain is accessible from nearby towns like Szczyrk via well-marked trails, with the quickest route taking roughly two hours to the summit. The terrain is fairly straightforward to navigate, though weather can change quickly at this elevation.
From this summit, hikers can link several neighboring peaks into a single circular route across the mountain range. This flexibility makes it popular with those wanting to explore multiple mountains during one outing.
