National Museum of Agriculture in Szreniawa

The National Museum of Agriculture in Szreniawa is a theme park with multiple buildings and outdoor spaces displaying machinery, tools, and agricultural equipment from different time periods. The complex shows various aspects of farming from the past to more recent times with both large and small objects.

The institution was founded in 1964 and received national museum status in 1975. It continued the work of the Warsaw Museum of Industry and Agriculture.

The museum displays how rural Polish communities lived and worked across generations, with exhibits showing everyday practices and traditional farming methods. Visitors can see how families used their homes and what tools mattered for daily work.

Access to various buildings can be difficult in bad weather, so good footwear is important. The best time to visit is between April and October when all areas are open and paths are easier to walk.

The complex includes a neo-gothic tower that was formerly a mausoleum for the Bierbaum family. The tower now serves as an observation platform giving views across the grounds.
