Muzeum poczty i telekomunikacji Wrocław, Postal and telecommunications museum in Wrocław, Poland.

The Museum of Post and Telecommunications is housed in a 1929 building that was Wrocław's first skyscraper, with rooms dedicated to postal history and communication devices. The interior contains displays of stamps, mail sorting equipment, communication tools from different eras, and uniforms worn by postal workers throughout Polish history.

The museum was established in Warsaw in 1921 and moved to Wrocław in 1956, becoming an important repository of Polish postal history. The relocation happened after major territorial changes in Poland and allowed the institution to serve the western regions of the country.

The collections reflect how communication shaped daily life for Polish people, with displays of stamps, uniforms, and period correspondence. Visitors can see how ordinary people sent messages and stayed connected before modern technology existed.

The museum is centrally located and accessible by public transport, with different visiting hours on weekdays and weekends. Plan to spend at least a couple of hours to comfortably explore all exhibition areas and examine the historical objects on display.

Visitors can see original mail carriages from the late 1800s and the first Polish television set from 1947, both rare items that document rapid technological change. These objects tell the story of how people and information moved across Poland during very different eras.
