Polonek i Germanek

Polonek i Germanek is a bronze dwarf statue in the Przedmieście Oławskie district showing two small figures holding hands. It stands near the German Consulate on Podwale Street and forms part of Wroclaw's extensive collection of over 600 dwarf sculptures throughout the city.

The statue was installed in 2016 and joins hundreds of dwarf sculptures that emerged from the Orange Alternative movement. This movement created art as a response to censorship during Poland's communist era.
