Main post office building in Wrocław

The red brick building stretches 142 meters in length and features a central tower reaching 43 meters into the Wrocław skyline.

Construction of the postal facility began in 1926 under architect Lothar Neumann and required 1,700 concrete piles to stabilize the former military cemetery ground.

The facade incorporates bas-reliefs depicting scenes from daily life, including representations of workers, students, and members of the middle class.

The structure contains two interior passageways leading to courtyards, with a main hall serving postal customers and additional office spaces throughout.

The building stands as the first skyscraper built in Lower Silesia, covering over 3,000,000 square meters across 11 floors.
