Monument to the Scouts of September, Katowice, War memorial in Plac Obrońców, Katowice, Poland

During September 1939, Polish scouts served as primary defenders of Katowice for two days against German forces after military commanders retreated from the region.
The monument inscription 'All that is ours to give, we shall give to Poland' reflects the dedication of young Polish citizens to their homeland.
The memorial stands near Katowice's central Rynek square, making it accessible to visitors exploring the downtown area on foot.
The sculpture, created by Michał Brachmański and unveiled in 1983, commemorates both male and female scouts who participated in the city's defense.
