Przełęcz Bukowska, Mountain pass at Poland-Ukraine border in Bieszczady, Poland.

Przełęcz Bukowska is a mountain pass in the western Bieszczady range located at the Poland-Ukraine border, situated at 1107 meters between the peaks of Kińczyk Bukowski and Rozsypaniec. The terrain features steep slopes transitioning to open meadows with expansive views across neighboring mountains and the frontier landscape to the south.

The pass historically marked a watershed where streams flow northward toward the Baltic Sea basin and southward toward the Black Sea system. This geographical boundary shaped trade routes and settlement patterns across the region for centuries.

The red-marked Główny Szlak Beskidzki trail through Bukowska Pass connects multiple peaks, forming a primary route for mountain exploration in Poland.

The pass is accessible via an 8-kilometer dirt road from Wołosate village where parking and park entrance facilities exist. The route demands sturdy footwear and can become muddy or slippery depending on weather conditions, so weatherproof clothing is advisable.

The protected alpine plant Arnica montana grows near this location, making it one of the few spots in Poland where the species flourishes. This rare plant draws nature enthusiasts who specifically seek it out during their visits.
