Q22, Neomodern skyscraper in downtown Warsaw, Poland
Q22 is a 195-meter-tall skyscraper featuring glass panels and clean geometric forms across its facade. The building contains 42 floors with more than 91,000 square meters of office and commercial space, along with an underground parking garage.
The building was constructed after the demolition of the Mercure Fryderyk Chopin hotel in 2012, with construction beginning in 2013. It was completed in July 2016.
The name Q22 comes from its address on Jana Pawła II Avenue 22, a street named after Pope John Paul II, a significant figure in Polish history. This connection reflects how Warsaw integrates its religious heritage into the urban landscape.
The building is located in downtown Warsaw with convenient access to public transportation. Note that this is primarily a business building, so interior access may be limited to office tenants and their guests.
In 2023, the building introduced the first employee access system using Apple Wallet in the European Union. Workers can now unlock office spaces directly from their smartphones without needing physical badges.
