Skysawa, Office skyscraper in Śródmieście, Poland
Skysawa is a high-rise complex in central Warsaw consisting of two connected buildings, with the taller structure reaching 155 meters. The development includes office floors, retail shops, and parking for vehicles and bicycles.
Construction began in June 2019 and finished in 2022, replacing a 1960s office building that previously occupied the site. The project reflected a new wave of downtown Warsaw redevelopment.
The name merges the word for sky with Sawa, the mermaid from Warsaw's founding legend. This choice reflects the city's mythological roots and its connection to the Vistula River.
The complex connects directly to Rondo ONZ metro station through an underground passage, providing easy access to the public transport network. Its central location makes it accessible from different parts of the city.
The building was the first of its kind in Warsaw to be built with a direct underground metro connection. This passage allows visitors and workers to move between the complex and transit without going outside.
