Osnos Tenement House in Warsaw, Restored tenement house at Twarda Street 28 in Wola district, Poland.
The four-story brick building features preserved interior decorations and stands among modern skyscrapers near Rondo ONZ in central Warsaw.
The tenement house, constructed in 1911, became part of the Warsaw Ghetto from 1940 to 1942 during the German occupation of Poland.
The ground floor spaces contained various establishments including grocery stores, a wine warehouse, and a hair salon that served local residents.
The building received official monument status in 2019 and maintains its original architectural elements despite modifications made in the 1960s.
The pavement near the tenement displays marked lines indicating the location of the former ghetto wall that stood between 1940 and 1943.
