Wzgórze Kawowe

Kaffeeberg is a 60-meter summit in Międzyzdroje with views across the Baltic Sea toward Swinoujście and the German seaside towns of Ahlbeck and Heringsdorf. From the top, the landscape spreads out in multiple directions, revealing the width of the coastal region.

The name comes from a 19th-century cafe that operated here until the end of World War II, designed according to plans by King Wilhelm IV of Prussia. This establishment shaped the location's early identity as a destination for visitors.

Memorials at the summit honor Polish soldiers from eastern Poland who settled in Międzyzdroje after World War II. These tributes are woven into the landscape and reflect the stories of people who made this place their home.

A wooden staircase with 256 steps, built in 2013, connects the promenade to the summit via the Schwarzer Pfad trail. The path is straightforward to find and offers direct access for all visitors.

The location marks the boundary of Wolin National Park with an oversized information board highlighting nearby protected areas. From here, walkers can easily venture into adjacent wildlife sanctuaries.
