Abbot’s Granary

The Abbot's Granary is a storage building in Baroque style with carefully worked stone details and a symmetrical front over three floors. Inside, original wooden beams and old storage systems show how grain was kept and organized.

This building was constructed in 1723 by Cistercian monks and served for many years as a storage place for grain and farm products. It was key to keeping the monastery supplied with food and resources over many generations.

The building now displays exhibits about Pomeranian crafts and how people lived in this region over time. Visitors can see the tools and objects that were part of everyday work and home life.
