The District Court in Toruń is a neo-Gothic court building at 51 Piekary Street, built of light-coloured brick. Its front elevation is topped with a crenellated attic, and the projecting section is flanked by round corner turrets. It is entered from Piekary Street in the Old Town.

The building was erected before 1864 and enlarged in March 1880. It has housed the judiciary since its construction. It is listed in the municipal register of monuments under number 547.

The building has served the justice system continuously since it was erected before 1864, and it still houses the District Court. It was entered in the municipal register of monuments under number 547. The trial of the murderers of Father Jerzy Popiełuszko was held here in 1985.

The building stands at Piekary 51 in Toruń's Old Town, near the Detention Center, the Church of Our Lady and Collegium Maius. It is an operating court, so access depends on hearings; photography is not allowed inside. The light-brick facade and crenellated attic can be viewed from the street.

The building is entered in the municipal register of monuments under number 547, and it has served the justice system continuously since it was built before 1864. In 1985 its courtrooms hosted the trial of the murderers of Father Jerzy Popiełuszko.
